A festive affair: Christmas jumpers out in force at Ultima Skills Training
Ultima branches in Wigan, Rochdale and Morecombe are lapping up the Christmas jumper spirit today seeing staff and learners each contribute in raising an impressive £100.00 for the Alzheimer’s society.Ultima Skills Training and Ultima Recruitment has matched this total bringing the new total to a generous £300.
“800,000 people in the United Kingdom are affected by dementia today which is expected to rise to over 1 million within the next 10 years… that means we will all know at least one person with Alzheimer’s in years to come” Spokesperson from WLCT Active Living.
Dionne Carroll, Health Improvement Training Officer, Bridgewater Community NHS: “We continually want to challenge people’s attitudes towards Alzhiemer’s and put in many sanctions to do so.
Dionne goes on to say: “Our memory walk last month saw the support of 123 participators and donations totalled to a fantastic £1124.43.”

The money raised is going to a cause we’re proud to support here at Ultima Skills Training and the atmosphere in the office has been uplifting.
